Biography

Donald is of Counsel to the firm.  He is an attorney with  substantial skills in intellectual property law and broad areas of technology with a primary focus on the chemical and biotechnical arts.  He provides business-based advice and counsel concerning IP law that is formed by experience as a business leader, as well as practicing as in-house IP counsel to two significant corporations.

His practice areas include Intellectual Property Law, preparation and prosecution of patent applications, opinion matters concerning alleged infringement, licensing, negotiating and preparing contracts related to joint research, trademarks and trade secrets, and litigation.

Donald received his A.B. in Biochemistry from Princeton University, a PhD in Genetics and Biochemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, and a post-doc degree in Biology and Chemistry from Caltech.  Donald earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law.
